Raising Funds for the Notre Dame Centre

Connelly Group Holdings sponsor the registered charity Notre Dame Centre in Glasgow and are raising funds by taking part in the Virtual Kiltwalk 2021 between April 23 – 25.

Help us help the Notre Dame Centre

Even if you don’t have a kilt, tartan bonnet or scarf come and join us for the Virtual Kiltwalk 2021! We’d be delighted to have you onboard for a very worthwhile cause.

Funds raised will be topped up by 50% (up to first £5,000 raised) thanks to Sir Tom Hunter and The Hunter Foundation. Connelly Group Holdings will donate an additional 50% up to a maximum of £10,000 of the total funds raised from all donation paths. Please lend us your support to raise as much as possible for vulnerable children in Glasgow.

About the Notre Dame Centre

Based in Possilpark in Glasgow, the Notre Dame Centre provides support to pre-school to adolescent children and their families throughout Scotland who have experienced trauma through abuse, neglect, loss, domestic violence, poor attachment, drug and alcohol misuse and parental mental health. The Centre also helps children experiencing single event trauma as well as many other events that children get exposed to.

The help involves a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches including play therapy, relationship-based parent/child work and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

Often, as some children grow up to become adults, some end up within the criminal justice system.

There is a clear link between what happened in childhood that causes them to make the wrong choices, in particular becoming involved in criminality.

We want to help to try to assist the experts within the Notre Dame Centre work with children in getting them onto the right path in life.
